Meet The Team

Justin Teakle
Managing Director
Justin Teakle brings over 20 plus years of experience working in Hockey Development Programs to Everest Hockey group after four seasons playing in the Ontario Provincial Junior League (OPJHL), he transitioned into coaching and coached over 1000 games over a 14 season span. That run included one record setting season with the Cobourg Cougars in 2011, where the team finished with a 38-9-3 record. Since 2005 he has served as the Director and Head Instructor of PassHockey and currently is the head of player development at Everest Academy.
Most recently Justin has led the Toronto Junior Canadians 2010 team to a GTHL championship and OHF champions, in 2020 was named Director of Operations for Can-Ice. Justin is committed to pushing and challenging our athletes to reach their full potential and surpass current expectations within the game and team.
Justin’s experience, knowledge and focus are key attributes that he wants to contribute towards the growth of Everest Hockey Group.
Karen Cribari
Director of Operations
Karen Cribari brings over 12 years of experience in the hockey world to her role as Director of Operations at Everest Hockey Group. With exceptional expertise in organizing elite AAA and AA spring teams across all age groups, she has built a strong reputation for developing highly competitive and successful programs across North America.
At Everest Hockey Group Karen oversees programming that includes hockey camps, tournaments, spring teams, and various events focused on player development and team dynamics.
Her passion for the game and organizational acumen have propelled the success of multiple teams, facilitating connections with players from diverse regions. Under her leadership, the program emphasizes a supportive yet competitive culture where players are encouraged to thrive both on and off the ice .
Karen’s deep knowledge of hockey operations, combined with her hands‑on experience in event coordination and program growth, makes her an integral part of Everest’s mission to cultivate elite hockey talent and leadership through high-energy camps, tournaments, spring teams, and performance-driven environments.


Daniel Sisca
On ice developers and coaches
Daniel Sisca brings over 15 years of high-level skill development experience, with a proven track record of helping players enhance key areas of their game, including skating, stick handling, and shooting. His development-focused approach is built on a strong foundation of technical instruction and on-ice efficiency, aimed at maximizing player potential through structured progression.
With 15 seasons of coaching in the GTHL and a playing career that includes the OHL, ECHL, and professional leagues in Europe, Daniel offers a comprehensive understanding of the game and the demands of advancing through the hockey ranks. He has successfully guided numerous players from minor hockey into junior and elite-level programs across North America.
As the Hockey Director at Everest Academy, Daniel is responsible for overseeing all on-ice programming. He is committed to delivering a high-performance environment that emphasizes preparation, consistency, and attention to detail—core values that support long-term player growth and success.
Dave D'ammizio

Dave Dammizio is a dedicated skills coach at Everest Hockey Group and Academy, specializing in the development of hockey players from beginners all the way to those playing in the NHL. With over 24 years of experience, Dave focuses on enhancing technical skills, game sense, and overall performance on the ice.
Recognized for his exceptional teaching abilities, Dave has a unique talent for breaking down complex skills into manageable components. He creates customized training programs tailored to each player’s needs, ensuring they grasp fundamental techniques while building confidence. His patient and engaging coaching style encourages players to push their limits and embrace continuous improvement, making skill development both effective and enjoyable.


Mathew Sisca

Mathew Sisca is a former professional hockey player and current coach, known for his dynamic offensive play and leadership on and off the ice. Mathew played over 4.5 years in the OHL, also playing 7+ years professional in USA & Europe. Mathew has been coaching for the past 6 years now in the GTHL for Vaughan Kings and JRC AAA teams. Mathew also Co-owns CAD Hockey with his brother Daniel for the past six years. Mathew brings offensive and creativity structure to the young minds he coaches these days.
Anthony Nigro

As a dedicated skills coach at Everest Academy, Anthony Nigro brings a deep understanding of player development, built on years of professional experience. A former Ontario Hockey League (OHL) standout and NHL draft pick by the St. Louis Blues, Anthony’s career spans top-tier leagues across both North America and Europe.
Over the past three years, he has worked closely on the ice with athletes at Everest, helping them elevate their game through a hands-on, high-performance approach. His reputation for precise technical training, combined with a focus on enhancing hockey IQ and building confidence, sets him apart in the development space.
Anthony’s time overseas enriched his coaching perspective, allowing him to blend international methods with proven North American systems. Committed to helping each athlete reach their full potential, he delivers focused, high-quality skill instruction rooted in passion and professionalism. His continued dedication makes him a vital part of the Everest Academy program.
